Take a pottery class. Go to the mall and watch people. Go to the art museum at your local university. See a play. Go to the zoo. Pretty much, you take yourself out of the mundane everyday and do something different. Your inspiration will come back. I am a sculptor and painter. When I loose the urge and drive to finish a piece, I put it down and do something else. Eventually I will come back to it when the urge hits me again. If you force it, it isn’t fun or a hobby, it becomes work-eeek!
